Americas Cardroom today announced the Million Dollar Warmup, a $1.5 million guaranteed tournament series leading up to the Million Dollar Sunday, the much-anticipated $1 million guarantee scheduled for August 2nd. The online poker series kicks off on July 30th and gives players countless opportunities to sharpen their game and win big along the way.
The next Million Dollar Sunday, which takes place on August 2nd at 3pm ET, is the third Million Dollar Sunday tournament of the year. The event features a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, with $200,000 earmarked for the first place winner. Americas Cardroom introduced the frequent $1 million online poker tournament earlier this year to much fanfare. It had been nearly four years since US poker players saw a Sunday million dollar poker tournament. Thanks to Americas Cardroom's huge popularity in the United States, the online poker site was able to return to the glory days of poker.
The Million Dollar Warmup begins on Thursday, July 30th at 3pm ET with a $2,000 guarantee and features $65,000 in guarantees spread throughout the afternoon and evening, leading up tomidnight. The schedule repeats itself on Friday, giving players $130,000 in guarantees before the weekend even kicks off.
On Saturday, an additional $32,000 is on the table, and Sunday will see another $135,000 offered between 1pm and 11pm ET. With the mega satellites to the Sunday Million within the series, players can also look forward to plenty of opportunities to qualify for the Main Event.
